Pressure washing, soft washing, paver sealing & window cleaning serving Eagle Lake and all of Polk County
Eagle Lake sits between three bodies of water: Eagle Lake itself, Lake McLeod, and Lake Millsite. That much open water means humidity stays high year-round, and the moisture that settles on stucco walls, soffits, and roof shingles overnight does not fully dry before the next day's heat sets in. The result is visible mildew growth on exterior surfaces that builds faster here than in drier inland towns.
The older block homes along the original town grid near Downtown Eagle Lake and the Eagle Lake shoreline tend to show this first. Stucco absorbs moisture differently than vinyl siding, and it holds the dark streaking longer without a proper soft wash treatment. Homes in McLeod Gardens, built in the 1990s and early 2000s, often show algae staining on north-facing walls and along the roofline where shade keeps things damp.
The newer production-builder communities, including Ranches at Lake McLeod and Village at Windsor Reserve, face a different problem. Concrete driveways and walkways on these lots are fresh and light-colored, which makes irrigation staining and construction sand buildup stand out immediately. A driveway that looked clean at closing can show orange mineral streaking within a single rainy season.
Eagle Lake's history as a citrus and turpentine town means many of the older residential lots have mature trees close to the house. Leaf debris, lichen, and organic staining collect on roofs and flat paver surfaces in these spots at a rate that surprises newer homeowners.
Polk County's stormwater rules apply throughout Eagle Lake. Wash water must be kept out of storm drains and away from the lakes. We follow those guidelines on every job, which matters especially on properties near the Eagle Lake boat ramp area and the Lake McLeod shoreline.
Regal Rinse Solutions is based in Winter Haven at 620 Oleander Dr SE, which puts us about ten minutes from Eagle Lake by way of the US 17 corridor. That short drive means we can fit Eagle Lake into a normal workday without a travel surcharge or a long scheduling window.
When we arrive, we walk the property before we touch anything. On Eagle Lake's older town-grid homes we pay attention to older stucco texture and wood trim that needs lower pressure. On the newer HOA communities like Ranches at Lake McLeod and Village at Windsor Reserve, we check the concrete for sealer that might already be on the driveway and look for irrigation heads near the house that need to be noted before we run water across the lot.

Yes, in a practical sense. Eagle Lake, Lake McLeod, and Lake Millsite surround the town on multiple sides, which keeps ambient humidity elevated. Surfaces that might take two or three seasons to develop heavy algae growth inland will often show visible buildup within one season here, particularly on north-facing stucco and shaded rooflines.
That is part of how we work on every Eagle Lake property. Polk County's stormwater rules prohibit wash water from entering storm drains or the lakes. We plan our runoff path before we start, and on properties close to the shoreline or the boat ramp area we take extra care with where water moves during the job.
Orange staining on concrete is usually iron or mineral deposit from irrigation water, which is common in the newer communities near Lake McLeod. Hot-water pressure washing removes most of it. If the staining is deep or has been sitting for more than one season, some faint discoloration may remain, but the surface will be significantly cleaner. We will tell you what to expect when we walk the driveway before we start.
Soft washing uses lower water pressure combined with a cleaning solution that kills algae and mildew at the surface level. Standard pressure washing pressure on older stucco can force water into hairline cracks or damage the finish. Soft washing gets the same cleaning result without that risk, which is why we default to it on the block and stucco homes common in Eagle Lake's original neighborhoods.
Scheduling availability changes week to week. Call us at (863) 531-8151 or reach out online and we will give you the current lead time. Eagle Lake is a short drive from our Winter Haven base, so we can usually work it into the schedule without a long wait.
